Trapped in the Fae kingdom after waking from enchanted sleep, Lizzie misses the independence she once enjoyed. Calyse, assigned to oversee her recovery, watches her every move. Their forced proximity nearly drives her mad, and even grates on Calyse, who used to aid the King himself, though it’s hard to tell between the wicked smiles and dirty banter.
